Is fashion really becoming inclusive? Well, Moncler is trying!

The president and CEO, Remo Ruffini, said he wanted to create and perceive a link between people and the brand itself. The secret is knowing and getting in touch with all communities, indeed, micro communities.

To celebrate the 70 years of the brand, an extraordinary event was held on 24th September at 21.00. Not surprisingly named ‘Extraordinary Forever’! Moncler was founded in 1952 by the French René Ramillon and André Vincent… Long time ago. The celebration of this event began during the week of Fashion Week and will last for 70 days.

What better occasion than an open event to everyone? No super exclusive invitations, no name cards, no sold out. The invitation was open to everyone. Of course, the main celebrities of the moment were there, including: Blanco, Sfera Ebbasta, Thom Browne, Anne Hathaway, Hiroshi Fujiwara, Rick Owens, Pierpaolo Piccioli and many others.

The performance consisted of more than 2,000 people, including dancers, musicians, choristers and models who entertained the entire audience of the Duomo.

The show was opened by Virna Toppi, prima ballerina of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, who performed a ballet dance, followed by dancers and models who joined the performance covering the entire square in white, with lights and confetti everywhere.

The main color that governed throughout the duration of the event was white, symbol of a new beginning. During the exhibition the performers wore the special model Moncler Maya 70, made specifically for the occasion. The iconic down jacket with feather padding and classic boudin quilting, now symbol of the brand’s DNA. Who doesn’t recognise it?
