This weekend Simone Porte Jacquemus, the founder of the eponymous brand, got married to his partner, Marco Maestri, with whom he’s been together for years. Italian charm always strikes, you know!
The wedding was celebrated in Provence, surrounded by nature and the landscape of the south of France with friends and relatives of the spouses. A quiet and intimate party, the only thing that surprises is the guests’ dress code: total white. Some of them have worn Jacquemus dresses from the 2022 autumn winter fashion show, ‘Le Papier’, which saw as its main theme the one of marriage. The main color is white and its shades, long and light dresses, elegant suits, gloves and veils in tulle, not at all banal and traditional but following asymmetric shapes and cuts typical of the brand.
Definitely anti conventional choice but what could we expect from the creator of one of the most fashionable and innovative brand of the moment? In case you didn’t understand, yes, I’m a big fan.
