Also Valentino is passionate about vintage! At the beginning of October, the brand started a super project. In the so-called phase 1, Valentino asked his beloved customers to bring back some old products in exchange for a credit to spend in boutiques.
Today, in stage 2, all these items are on sale in different vintage stores. Let’s see where! Madame Pauline Vintage in Milan, The Vintage Dress in Tokyo, New York Vintage in New York and Resurrection Vintage in Los Angeles. This new initiative allows the brand to give new life to past collections in a sustainable and circular way.
From 9th to 12th June there was an exhibition of some items in the historic Madame Pauline store that was a success! Both among young Millennial who are increasingly careful to sustainable projects, and both among the Milanese old ladies who have relived their youth just by looking at the clothes. It doesn’t seem but many of the clothes are over 50 years old!
But this project is not finished yet, we are still waiting for phase 3… Stay tuned!
