This project consists in the creation of new glasses, but we are not talking about simple glasses but rather about a new product category: smart eyewear, or the smart glasses of the future. For this occasion, the global eyewear giant has opened the Smart Eyewear Lab, a research center located in Milan that will bring together young talents, researchers and teachers.
Thanks to the study of digital technologies, bioengineering, physics and artificial intelligence, EssilorLuxottica wants to create glasses that are not only an accessory, but allow people to connect to the network independently. Also in this case, the real world is merging more and more with the digital world!
