The creative director had recently finished rereading the Divine Comedy, Dante Alighieri’s masterpiece of Italian literature, and this is where he found the inspiration for his creations. The leopard, the lion and the wolf representing lust, pride and avarice are precisely the protagonists of the fashion show, literally… Three outfits with three heads of the beasts: an animalier sheath dress with the gaping jaws of a leopard worn by Shalom Harlow, a long velvet dress accompanied by a lion’s mane for Irina Shayk and finally a black fur coat with a wolf worn by Naomi Campbell, At the center of it all: the corset.
Some found it out of place seeing the environmental and animal situation only getting worse, while others found it charming and sustainable since the animals are obviously not real but are super realistic. Did you guys like it?
