In addition to being the city of fashion, Milan is also the city of design. During this week, from 7th to 12th June will be held the sixtieth edition of the Salone del Mobile with 20 pavilions, for a total of 200,000 square meters of exhibitions.

Also on this occasion, one of the main focus is sustainability. The installation by Mario Cucinella, contemporary architect, called “Design with Nature” revolves around the concepts of circular economy and reuse.

This work gives us hope. Hope that not everything is lost. Hope that in our cities we have the resources of the future. One of the three themes of this piece of art is the city as mine. Mine where we already have everything, there is no need to produce again and again, we just have to dig and reuse at best what we already own.

The real beauty of this work is that when it will be disassembled, it will have a new life. In fact, the pieces of which is composed will be reused in other contexts, perhaps in a school, a library or a laboratory.
