Here we are: Milan Fashion Week 2025 is just around the corner, and we’ve got a wishlist longer than the line for Gucci sales. Miuccia, Donatella, and the rest of the Italian dream team, we’re watching! Here’s what we expect to see on the runway… and yes, we want some drama.

Miuccia Prada: The Queen of Chic Chaos

Miuccia, we know, you’re the only one who can make us fall in love with a collection inspired by Frankenstein (but fashion). After the latest collections – with a mix of ’90s nostalgia and the internet & algorithms – we want something more.

Mooore’s Wishlist for Miuccia Prada & Raf Simons:

  • “Wi-Fi Enabled” Dresses: Since you’ve brought algorithms to the runway, why not make stylish dresses that are also interactive? Maybe with a leather touchscreen detail…

Giorgio Armani: The King of Elegance

Uncle Giorgio, always impeccable and with a style that screams Martini on the rocks. But now, we want you to surprise us!

Mooore’s Wishlist for Giorgio:

  • Gender-Free Tuxedo: A suit that works for anyone. It just has to be so stunning that it’ll make you want to get married just to wear it.

Donatella Versace: The Diva of Glam Drama

Donatella, the absolute queen of “more is more”. You’ve given us glam, you’ve given us Madonna, now it’s time for you to give us… something crazy.

Mooore’s Wishlist for Donatella:

  • Neon Comeback: Think Miami Vice 2.0, but for 2025. Fluorescent ’80s looks, with a genius twist for FW 25/26.

Gucci: Sabato de Sarno Joins the Chat

Sabato, you’ve already made us dream with that retro vibe. But now, we want to see if Gucci can go even extra.

Mooore’s Wishlist for Gucci:

  • “Wearable Art” Accessories: Bags, belts and sunglasses that look like sculptures, perhaps inspired by contemporary art hanging on your walls. A Gucci outfit shouldn’t just be worn… it should be admired!

Bottega Veneta: The Future is a Question Mark…

And so, goodbye Matthieu Blazy, and welcome Louise Trotter. Changing creative directors is always a delicate moment. It’s like that iconic bag you’ve used a thousand times: you’re attached to it, but it’s starting to lose its shine… And then you find yourself thinking, “Should I try to find a brand new one, or stay loyal to what I love and buy the same one again?” Here’s the dilemma: should we stay true to what Bottega was (and what we LOVED – Matthieu’s designs) or should we hope for the unexpected? Well, here at Mooore we say: OUT OF THE ORDINARY THINGS!

Mooore’s Wishlist for Louise Trotter:

  • Fashion of the Unexpected: Take Bottega’s DNA in a totally new direction… like leather dresses that transform into bags. (HAHAHAH Why not?)
