Adidas and Balenciaga have decided to discontinue their collaboration with Kanye West. We all know how brazen the American rapper is and how he has no problem expressing his opinion, even when it’s against everyone. But this time… It’s enough, Kanye. I think you’ve crossed the line. See his statements during the podcast with the scientist Lex Fridman.

“We are still living through the holocaust. A Jewish friend of mine told me to go visit the holocaust museum, and my response was, ‘let’s go visit our holocaust museum: Planned Parenthood'” (For those who don’t know, Planned Parenthood is an American organisation that deals with sexual health and education, among other things, it practices abortion.

“Fifty percent of deaths of black people today are due to abortion. The most dangerous place for a black person in America is their mother’s womb.”

The most dangerous place for a person is precisely the place where others make decisions for her body. To talk about abortion using these statements at a time in history like this is aberrant.

In conclusion, the rapper states that “A Jewish doctor diagnosed me with bipolar disorder and injected me with medication. Then he told the newspapers” As if his mental disorder was due to the doctor’s religion, referring to a conspiracy by Jews.

These allegations are so strong that major brands such as Adidas and Balenciaga could not stay silent and announced that they no longer wanted to know about Kanye West. In fact, the sports brand has decided to cancel its line, Yeezy, despite the fact that it accounts for 8 percent of revenue. According to Bloomberg’s predictions, this choice will lead to a loss of 250 million euros. But that’s not the end of it… The list of companies distancing themselves from Kanye is not finished, we also have Gap, Foot Locker, Creative Artist Agency and Vogue.
