We always talk about sustainability, but do we really know what lies behind this phantom word?

The truth is told to us by Matteo Ward, entrepreneur, CEO and co-founder of the brand WRÅD, in the docu-series “Junk: full closets.” It’s six episodes that you can also find on YouTube. Each episode is named after the place where it is filmed, from Chile, to Ghana, to Bangladesh, to Indonesia, to India until we arrive here in Italy, in the region of Veneto.

Matteo takes us on a journey with him to explore the impacts that fast fashion has caused to the environment and to people. The Chilean desert is completely flooded with used clothing from all over the world, the critical working conditions in which textile workers in Bangladesh and India find themselves, the artificial production of rayon (or viscose) that is endangering the health of people and forests and more…

The real purpose is not to scare us but to raise awareness of the issue and open our eyes to what is really happening. There is still time to take action!
