On September 20, 2023, under an unexpectedly rainy sky, Milan Fashion Week was electrified by Diesel’s thrilling return. With Glenn Martens at the helm, Diesel not only revisited its denim roots but shattered every expectation, taking the runway into bold, uncharted territory.
The event, aptly named “Only the Brave” in honor of founder Renzo Rosso, saw a crowd of over 7,000 gather at the innovative Scalo Farini venue. With tickets selling out in the blink of an eye, it was clear Diesel was set to make waves.
Denim, the brand’s beating heart, was reinvented and showcased in an entirely fresh light. Jeans adorned with precise laser cuts, layered jackets that looked almost sculptural, and a color palette ranging from classic blue to camo, proved that denim can be bold, innovative, and supremely chic.
