A few days ago, on May 10th, I was doing some research for work and I ended up on Pambianco’s website but the page appeared black, as if it didn’t work, Then the photo of the founder appeared.
Carlo Pambianco passed away that night at the age of 83. I am particularly attached to this site because I often consulted it during my university career of which I have a beautiful memory. I often use it to stay up dated with the latest fashion news.
There’s not much information about Carlo Pambianco. This suggests that, in addition to being a great entrepreneur in the fashion and luxury sector, he was probably a very private person. What we know is that he was born in 1937 and after gaining professional experience in large fashion groups including, Grignasco, Gft and Ermengildo Zegna, in 1977 he founded Pambianco Strategie di Impresa, now called Pambianco srl.
Pambianco was born as a small consulting company for strategies and internationalisation of Made in Italy companies, based in Milan.
Today that small business turned into a prestigious company and all the work is managed between different offices around the world: from Paris to Düsseldorf, New York, Tokyo and Beijing.
Now, the business has also moved into the digital world, on pambianconews.com, where you can find the following sections: Design, Beauty, Wine & Food, Hotellerie, Real Estate and all the latest economic-financial updates. The site has now become a point of reference for all people who work in the fashion world (including me) or who are simply passionate about it. Well done Carlo!
“His professional intuitions, his personal energy, his enthusiasm and curiosity for every aspect of life, are the basis of the success of Pambianco, today a valuable company, recognised in Italy and internationally for its authoritativeness and credibility.”
This is how the employees of his company remember him.
