To celebrate 75 years since the creation of the snake, Bulgari has organised an ad hoc exhibition, “Serpenti 75 Years of Infinite Tales.” Among the spaces of the Dazio di Levante in Milan, an exhibition will be held in collaboration with a number of artists with free access until November 19th. The brand icon will be revisited by six Italian and international artists: Quayola, Sougwen Chung, Daniel Rozin, Cate M, Fabrizio “Bixio” Braghieri and Filippo Salerni.

In Greek culture, the snake was considered a sacred animal as it symbolised strength, healing and magic, three core values. Not surprisingly, it was often associated with deities, such as Hermes, Asklepios, Athena and Apollo. In 1948, Bulgari first introduced the figure of the snake into its collections, not knowing that it would soon become iconic. The wrist-wrapping watches-jewels would become a must-have, perfectly embodying the ideal of female power: a strong, magnetic, self-confident woman who knows what she wants.
