White shirts with blue stripes, floral printed denim, shoulder bags, and stiletto heels. The first silhouette showcased at Ralph Lauren’s Spring-Summer 2024 show set the tone immediately: a union of elegance and poetry, even in the most daily expressions.

While the first part of the runway revisited blazers paired with white shirts and ties, denim cargo pants, and tailored suits, the second segment shone in its intent to redefine evening attire, with pieces illuminated by golden and glittering details. And the third segment? Bohemian-inspired dresses where sensuality is heightened by soft fabrics and captivating fringes.

Regarding the models, new faces like Anok Yai or Mariacarla Boscono received special attention from the renowned American designer, while icons like Natalia Vodianova and Christy Turlington concluded the show, both donning golden dresses that accentuated their figures.

After a four-year hiatus from New York Fashion Week, Ralph Lauren’s return was strongly felt. The event, held at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, transformed a vast warehouse into an elegant artist’s loft, almost a transposition of his ranch in Colorado amidst the New York metropolis. In front of an audience made up of authentic Hollywood royalty, the collection presented was a perfect blend of classic “Ralph-style” elegance and a modern sense of Americana.

The show opened with denim, elevated by artisan details such as beads, embroidery, and tulle linings. The pieces evoked an eclectic sense of personal style, as stated by Lauren himself. In the end, as in a fairy tale, Christy Turlington closed the show in a goddess-worthy golden dress.

After the show, guests retreated to a “barn” adorned with wooden tables and chandeliers, dining to the sound of Bob Dylan songs. A moment that made all the attendees feel like protagonists in a movie, living, at least for one evening, the American dream.
