A few months ago, the influencer Sissi Guida launched her brand, “Vingt-deux.” The name means 22 in French, probably refers to her actual age or to the angelic number that she also got tattooed on her hand. The angelic number is said to bring wisdom, power and support.
The girl went viral on Tik Tok for her super stylish outfits and make-up reaching 117k followers on instagram and 208k on Tik Tok. Sissi then decided to open up completely and tell another part of her life. The creator is living with a disease, multiple sclerosis, diagnosed in 2020. The first symptoms actually became apparent early in 2013, when her entire upper body fell asleep and she felt a shake in her spine when she lowered her head, which she still feels today. “Initially there were so many hypotheses, even worse than multiple sclerosis, in fact, I consider myself lucky.” She said in a video.
Finding out that you have an autoimmune disease at such a young age and accepting that you have to live with it for the rest of your life is not at all easy to process. But from that day until now, Sissi has never put herself down and between ups and downs, she has never stopped pursuing her dream: to found a brand.
For now we find two collections: Sinners, where we find sweatshirts and sweats, and Ride or die, with tank tops, jeans and hats. The style is casual, vintage, young and sporty but always chic. The velvet jumpsuits and low-waisted jeans are somewhat reminiscent of the 2000s style, of which Sissi is a big fan. But before wearing her clothes, it’s important to keep in mind some rules that we can also find on the brand’s e-commerce:
“Before wearing these garments
Make sure to work on yourself
And learn how to trill love your body
So that you can feel confident
In whatever you are wearing
Here are the rules:
1. Don’t compare yourself to others.
2. Be your own role model.
3. Stop giving any f*ck of what people think.”
