The rappers Egor Creed and Timati have just opened a new venue with the help of Anton Pinsky restaurant in Russia, more precisely in Moscow. The peculiarity of this location is that it is very reminiscent of a Gucci Café, which, however, they have named “Efac Iccug” (try reading it backwards), this is to avoid shamelessly copying and pasting the Florentine brand. In fact, it is important to specify that the Gucci brand has nothing to do with the opening of this restaurant.
Inside the bar, we find all the stylistic codes and colours related to the brand, the snake, the bee, the typical floral print, even the GG monogram that unfortunately reminds us more of the fake and the endless number of counterfeit bags.
What we are wondering is: Is all this legal? The three founders have already anticipated that they are not violating any rights since the registration of the venue will be under the name of EFAC ICCUG and not for GUCCI CAFE…
How will this work out?
