We all know how the fashion world and the politics world are two distant realities that never cross. Neither of them likes to interfere in the world of the other and when they cross it’s serious!

But let’s take a step back, what is happening in these weeks? Government crisis… Yep, here we go again. The critical post-pandemic situation, the war in Ukraine and the consequent economic crisis with inflation were obviously not enough…

Lately, the world of fashion and luxury (and not only) is recovering after two years of covid. Finally we see the shops full of people, the queues to try on clothes, tourists who are looking forward to shopping in our boutiques. In fact, despite the endless prejudices on this sector, it’s important to recognise that fashion represents the second industry in Italy that in 2019 brought the beauty of 100 billion euros to our country, with 60 thousand companies and 600 thousand jobs.

Altagamma and Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana openly expressed their support for the government of Mario Draghi, writing that “Companies need a stable Government and the international standing of Mario Draghi. In order to ensure stability, contain the spread and conclude the path of the NRRP on schedule, the Draghi Government must be able to continue to lead the country with the same consistency and firmness.”

It’s important to underline that we are not focusing so much on political ideologies here, the only aim is to save our country and its economy. We must act as a united country and show love for our homeland, putting aside the political thoughts that now take second place.

Although in the last period there have been signs of recovery, it is still a difficult moment for many families, businesses, in fact for all Italian citizens. The government crisis is the last thing we need right now…!
