Poor Gioconda. A few days ago, at the Louvre, a man disguised as an elderly woman in a wheelchair managed to make room in the crowd and threw a cream cake on the famous painting of our Leonardo da Vinci, which was obviously protected by glass and hasn’t suffered any damage.

It has already happened twice that the Mona Lisa was victim of attacks, the first time was also damaged in the lower part because it was hit by acid and the second time with a rock that broke the glass and deteriorated part of the oil painting. Why is everyone taking out on the poor Mona Lisa?

The man, of course, was immediately escorted outside. We are all wondering the reason of this gesture. As he headed towards the exit, he shouted environmental slogans: “There are people who are destroying the Earth… All artists, think about the Earth. That’s why I did this. Think of the planet”.

Is it really this the true reason of the act?
