Saint Laurent has just increased all his bags by 200 euros. Valentine did the same a few months ago. Celine has increased prices twice in just three months. Chanel had an increment between 5% and 17% during the last years, always on bags. To give you an idea of how impactful these changes are let’s take an example, the Chanel icon 2.55 bag has gone from € 6,050 to € 7,800. More than a thousand euros difference! Same goes for the Lady Dior, from € 3.400 to € 4.200.
What’s going on? There are those who say that this increase is due to the lack of raw materials or complications regarding logistics.
