After two years of stop because of covid, finally this year, the Coachella Music Festival is back, the party in California dedicated to music, in particular grunge, hip hop, indie and electronic. Now, it is became a meeting point not only for music lovers but also for influencers and tik tokers who show off hippy and colourful looks.
Of all the bands and singers that performed, Maneskin has been crazy. (as always!) Whether you are a fan or not of rock their energy is palpable, even through a screen. The band attended the event, singing some of their signature songs, including “Zitti e Buoni”, “Mamma mia” and “Beggin”. Not to mention their outfits! Iconic!
How can they go unnoticed? The singer Damiano, dressed Gucci, wore a negligee, a garment of pink lingerie see through, that he took off during the concert, revealing his bondage style outfit with mini shorts and black leather studded straps, fishnet tights and leather boots. Victoria, the bassist, wore a super sensual black lace jumpsuit and Thomas, the guitarist, a white shirt with collar and fishnet tights. Hot as hell!
In addition, the band, with its alternative and rebellious style, sided with Ukraine, performing the song “Dance on Gasoline” and shouting “Free Ukrain, F**k Putin!”. Damiano presented the song citing Charlie Chaplin’s speech in “The Great Dictator”, an iconic film of 1945.
“For the one who hear me, I say, do not despair. The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed and the liberty they took from people will return to the people. And so long as dictators die, liberty will never perish. Don’t give yourselves to these unnatural men! Machine men with machine minds and machine hearts! You are not machines, you are not cattle, you are people! You are men!”
“You, the people, have the power to make this life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure. Let us use that power. Let us all unite!”
