It’s called “90’s” and celebrates Thierry Le Gouès with an exhibition showcasing his most important photographic shots. The slides feature fashion icons from the 1990s, including Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Carla Bruni, Karen Mulder, and Tatjiana Patitz. It’s a journey into the mythicized era of supermodels, seen through the lens of the French photographer who extensively used black and white, occasionally punctuated by vibrant touches of color. Notably, among his most famous works is “Golden Girl,” an intimate portrait of Kate Moss covered in gold from head to toe.

Born in Brest, France, in 1964, Thierry Le Gouès took his first steps in the fashion world in the second half of the 1980s. His initial opportunities came at the age of 18 from none other than Condé Nast. Throughout his career, he has produced a extensive series of photographic services featured in leading industry magazines such as Vogue, Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar, and Rolling Stone, to name a few. Additionally, he has directed advertising campaigns for various globally recognized beauty and fashion brands, including Yves Saint Laurent, Hermès, Paco Rabanne, Moschino, and Ralph Lauren.

Organized by Mks Milano Fashion Agency and inaugurated on February 16th at the Rubin Gallery in Milan, the exhibition will remain open until February 21st (from 6 PM to 9 PM). Moreover, the photographs will be available for purchase until August 31, 2024. For more information, visit the gallery’s website: www.galleriarubin.com.
